This is a simple ikea art frame (RIBBA) with a 1000 piece puzzle in it. I’ve always felt a little sad having to take apart a puzzle and box it back up after it’s done. I decide to start framing them to fill some of the empty walls around my place.
Pick a puzzle! Most puzzles will look good framed but pick one you won’t mind staring at for a while.
Puzzle is done! Slide some wax paper or cardboard under the puzzle, and dust the top surface off.
Glue it! I used ModPodge puzzle glue (yes it’s a thing) and used some random plastic I had the spread it. I would recommend wearing gloves while doing it.

Prep the frame. Unpack the IKEA frame to start, I wanted the white edges so I glued a bit of spare cardboard in the middle so the puzzle didn’t sag in the middle. Here is the frame https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/ribba-frame-black-50268874/

Finish! Add more Modpodge to the backing and place the puzzle. You have a few minutes to make sure it’s centered. Once it’s dry assemble the frame to the instructions with the little screws.

Done! Sit back and enjoy until the itch to do another puzzle comes. You can also try a bigger one.
